Nourishment

Nourishment as food - Macro Nutrition. One of the primary ways in which food nourishes us is through taste. Taste has a profound impact on our body, mind and psyche. The knowledge of different tastes and their impact upon our individual nature can empower us to make wise choices that have far reaching consequences on our health.

With this guiding principle Kayakalpa classifies all food types including grains, dairy products, meats, seafood vegetables, spices and herbs according to their taste, which determines their impact on the biological principles of Air, Fire and Water.

Molecular Nutrition or Applied alchemy; the second essential element of nourishment, consists of herbo-mineral compounds called Kalpas, preparations that bring about balance in physiology, enhance immunity and slow down the aging process.

Subtle Nutrition- Nourishing the subtle body is as important as nurturing our physical body especially in modern times where we are overexposed to and consume an endless stream of stressful "junk" stimuli. Subtle nutrition is the specific use of sound, color, aromas, gems, metals and breath customized for a particular constitution. It nourishes the mind and senses and invigorates, circulates and expands the flow of energy.
