Breathing and Vital Energy

Kayakalpa is a dynamic process that catalyzes your vital energy and promotes healing and transformation.

At Kayakalpa, you experience a diverse array of therapies as part of your treatment. During these treatments and beyond, a key element of Kayakalpa is the Breath.

For example, during Alepa Therapy, the breath is an important element:  After the herbal-mineral paste has been vigorously applied to your body using various methods including kneading, friction,  stimulation of Marma or pressure points, you are swaddled, and left to dry on a warm massage table. While the paste is drying, you are instructed to maintain a Mula-Bandha breathing pattern throughout.

The breathing is essential. Why? Because it is the breathing that will ignite the vital energy of your body. The Mula-Bandha breath pulls the energy up from the root of your body. As you pull it up, your energetic blockages are confronted and removed.

There are two modes of the body’s nervous system:  involuntary and voluntary. Breath is the only system that is both voluntary and involuntary. You can choose to take a deep breath, you can choose to let it go.  The BREATH is the key.

It is the breath that moves the energy in the body.  In Kayakalpa, we guide you to engage with the vital energy of the body, helping you to achieve catharsis, healing and transformation.
